Abe and Donica Shouse sure are having a great time out on the Kona side of Hawaii, the big island of the island chain famous for its great waves, majestic views and island charm. They sent me these photos of their latest session, which seems like it was a whole lot of fun!

A nice north swell came rolling in and I happened to have just got this new Imagine board from a great friend corky.  This was my first day on it, as I had been riding a 10’0 and this is a 9’0 performance machine.

It was unreal, I felt like I was on my short board ripping turns.  It was so fast and I literally could turn on a dime! It would catch me off guard as a few times I got tossed off the board just because I was not ready for it to turn so fast. It was unreal how early I could catch the waves and how agile the board was I blew the fins out and aired of the lip, Things I have never done before…..
It was a day to remember in beautiful Florida….  Can’t wait to put some time on this machine……

Board Test Day

On Saturday Feb 18, in the afternoon we’re going to be at the Dog Patch at San Onofre State Park with a whole bunch of test boards, and we’d love to get feedback from anyone eager to give them a try. Everything from general purpose surfing boards, HP surfing boards, to race and open ocean boards… a new kids design… come on down… we’ll have a little questionnaire (very short) that you can fill out to help us create some really winning designs…

Sunset Beach world cup

Mo Freitas has been raging these past few months, and the Sunset beach event was no different. He started off with an impressive 3rd place finish at the Youth Event at Turtle Bay, and then went onto excel in the trials, narrowly missing a spot in the top 4 required to compete in the final event this week. These photos of Mo tearing it up on the Pro say it all.
