I’ve been using the Rapidfire for over a year and Its new name is the Enabler. It enables you to run class 3 -4 with the confidence that an inflatable lacks. For medium to hard whitewater this is my board of choice. The Rapidfire is made of Bombproof plastic and stands up to any abuse you can give it. This board is a great transition from whitewater kayaking and handles like a kayak when catching eddies, punching holes and surfing river waves. Don’t limit the Rapidfire to just whitewater though, Its an awesome fishing platform and great for beginners who will love the stability.
The Surfer is very stable and Easy for all. We have had over 35 people demo the wave and no one has fallen in the water, from a 6 year old to a 285 lb man. We have had multiple people and even a dog, and it always worked great. Steering is very easy by back paddling. Anyone can Stand Up Paddleboard on the Surfer. The surfer is great for everyone. We even pulled it behind a ski boat with the operator holding a ski rope and it handled great.
I have barely started getting into stand up paddling in the last month or so. This board was the first one I tried and definitely a smart choice for ANYONE beginning. It’s a little heavy, but with the wheel that latches on underneath it’s very easy to transport
In the water its wide stature provides incredible stability and support, I lost my fear of falling over within seconds. It goes over oncoming waves very easily as well, which was comforting to me when I was first getting out there. And when I caught my first wave I was so relieved because once it’s on the wave it is so stable! I would highly recommend this as a beginner board, and once you move on to higher performance boards this is a great one to keep around to put your friends and family on if they’ve never tried before!
The Imagine Spitfire takes whitewater SUP to the next level. While the Rapidfire drives through the river, the Spitfire dances on top of the whitewater. However, with this agility you lose stability. The sensation of SUPing the Spitfire is much more intimate and sensitive to the play of the river. The Spitfire will connect you to the river like no other vessel, but be advised this is a high performance SUP that takes time to master.
